Dr. Tomlinson earned an MS in Instructional Design Technology in hopes of keeping up with the blistering pace of technology, teaching and learning. Dr. Sky completed her dissertation study to obtain a PhD. in Education Technology and Human Sciences with a specialization in Learning, Instruction, & Innovation. She has been known to call herself as an "analog dog". And says, “It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks, so if I can do it, anyone can!” Dr. Sky can teach anyone from age 4 to 94. She is the winner of 2022 Livestream Teacher of the year on Hallo English, teaching English as a second language to learners from all over the world. She is a high-impact tutor for K-12 students in Science and English Language Arts. Her learners are building confidence while learning life skills. Dr. Sky's company is SkylockSolutions LLC, and has offered services in course and web design, digital content, social media campaigns, blog content, and digital video; Expanding services to offer live Internet television production. Dr. Sky’s knowledge and work in education technology has allowed her to mentor entrepreneurs struggling with new methods and means for marketing their products and services. Dr. Sky's PhD in Education Technology and Human Sciences has prepared her to be an effective leader and change agent who can address the nation’s most pressing challenges in the fields of business, technology, and education.
