he/him

Ken Termini was promoted to head the State Government Affairs Department at the corporate office of Forest Pharmaceuticals. Three years later, he took on a pivotal role in creating and managing the Federal Public Policy & Government Affairs Department during the critical implementation period of the Affordable Care Act. He concluded his pharmaceutical career as an Anti-Infective Hospital Specialist at Forest Laboratories (now Allergan), specializing in infectious disease and hospital-based IV antibiotics. Termini retired from the pharmaceutical industry by the age of 50, a goal he had set early in his career. His retirement was made possible through strategic financial planning and intelligent real estate investments. Over two decades, he engaged in vacation rental property development, significantly in the Outer Banks area, where he was part of a group that built large oceanfront houses and a 36-unit oceanfront condominium project. Despite selling most of his real estate holdings, he remains active in the Outer Banks NRPO group, contributing his extensive knowledge of property management. Beyond his professional endeavors, basketball has been a long-standing passion for him. Since 1990, he has coached high school basketball, with a brief hiatus, making significant contributions to the sport. He led the Palmerton High School basketball team, the Blue Bombers, as head coach for eight seasons, driving the team to win the District 11 Class 3A title in 2019 and consistently turning them into contenders in their league. His coaching excellence was recognized in 2015 when he was named Boys Basketball Coach of the Year. In addition to coaching, he founded the Colonial League Boys Basketball Coaches Association to ensure outstanding players receive due recognition. His commitment to the sport and to fostering young talent is evident in his ongoing involvement in basketball. Termini also competes in open-water swimming, participating in numerous events along the New Jersey Shore and other locations. His involvement in challenging swims, like the New York City SEAL Swim, underscores his dedication to physical fitness and his love for the sport.
