Let me review it in a Pros and Cons manner. Pros: Fantastic animation Good fight scenes and the violence is top notch, Has funny moments for a hard core action movie, Fantastic voice acting(particularly from Joel McHale, Jennifer Carpenter, Patrick Seitz, Dave B. Mitchell, Artt Butler and Darin De Paul as Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Scorpion, Raiden, Shang Tsung, and Quan Chi respectfully) Faithful to the video game series it's based on. Cons: Could of had more Sub-Zero(since he's Scorpion's rival) Grey Griffin is badly miscast as Kitana in my opinion(personally I don't mind her voicing Scorpion's son, but they could have gone with another voice actress for Kitana) Kevin Michael Richardson was wasted, returning as Goro from the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie, only to resort to grunts, growls and laughing. And only having two lines. Overall, I really like this movie. Give this a watch 9/10. Amazing storyline, every character got its origin (Scorpion, Jax, Sonya, Jhonny. Not a dull moment in the whole movie. Loved every second of it. A real justice to MK. I have been waiting for a decent MK anything (animation, movie, live action) but nothing decent was made till this. This was EPIC. Please continue making this. Would love to see more. Mortal Kombat has always had its main place as an animation over real life films. Hope this continues for the other story lines. 👍🏽.
