Helped Pioneer and market Long Term Care insurance since 1974. Started Lehmann/Wood & Associates, Inc in 1978 with my partner, W Terry Wood. We worked with the five eastern seaboard states and the five western seaboard states with over 200 hundred Agents/Brokers. Retired from my company in 2005, and began working on the Boards of Directors of a number of charitable organizations, I.e. Senior Services of Seattle/King County, the Gage Academy of the Arts, and the Ballard High School Foundation Advisory Board. Also work with the La Quinta Foundation for Special Needs children. In 2010, developed HIAF, Inc. ©™ with colleagues, to develop methods to help the Public, Health Insurance Agent Community, and Risk Funding Underwriters to "meet" via the Internet and work together to arrive at satisfactory conclusions to provide the consumers with appropriate and cost effective solutions to health care delivery and funding issues, while recognizing the important role played by the Health Insurance Agent Community in being the true advocates for Insurance Consuming Public. 2013 to current: Writer and Commentator, "The Underwriter's Insider".
