I’m on the Retirement trip of a lifetime🧳. February 2020, two weeks into my South Pacific/Asia 🌴sojourn, the world shuts down due to COVID😷. I was “stuck” when New Zealand closed its borders and my air carrier, Fiji Air ✈️ was grounded. After 22 months I finally made it “home” to the San Francisco Bay Area. In August 2022 I set out again to Fiji / Tahiti / Marquesas / Cook Islands / NZ for 6 months …But hit another “speed bump” with a serious fall and back fracture in two places, and travel plans were curtailed - but I did proceed and visited all islands.. In September 2023 I set out again on my third voyage to the South Pacific, visiting Fiji, NZ and Australia, returning home safely in March 2024. 😉 November 2024 and I’ve just returned from a short 2 week trip to French Polynesia. What’s next? More domestic travel until I can return to the Southern Hemisphere. I may never settle down. Am loving my travels and each day I turn lemons 🍋into lemonade.
